Tuboplasty is a procedure that is done to open up a blockage in your fallopian tube or to correct some other issue. This can happen as a result of an illness or a birth defect. The constriction also allows sperm to reach the egg but stops the egg from reaching the uterus, resulting in an extremely risky ectopic (tube) pregnancy. If you’ve already had your fallopian tubes surgically sterilised, it’s common to have them reopened.
